Roger Federer (born August 8, 1981) is thought by many people to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Roger is considered to be one of the biggest tennis sport personalities in today's world and is currently ranked no. 3 in the world. Roger has been a huge role model for many fans and people around the world including myself. His personal achievements include holding several consecutive world records such as world no. 1 for 302 weeks overall. His tournament records include winning six ATP World Tour Finals and playing in the finals at all nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments as well as winning the most prize money of any player in history.
The earliest I remember watching Roger Federer playing tennis was in 2005 at the Australian Open where he unfortunately lost in the semifinals to Marat Safin. After this game I began following Roger as a fan and the tennis matches that he played. Recently, Roger Federer has played exceptionally well in the 2014 Australian Open where he defeated Jo-Wilfred Tsonga and Andy Murray before losing to Rafael Nadal in the semifinals. Personally I look forward to see future matches which Roger will participate including the upcoming Australian Open this year.
